Publikasi ilmiah adalah sistem publikasi yang dilakukan berdasarkan peer review dalam rangka untuk mencapai tingkat obyektivitas setinggi mungkin. “Sistem” ini, bervariasi tergantung bidang masing-masing, dan selalu berubah, meskipun seringkali secara perlahan. Sebagian besar karya akademis diterbitkan dalam jurnal ilmiah atau dalam bentuk buku.
Sebagian besar bidang akademik yang telah mapan memiliki jurnal dan bentuk publikasi tersendiri, meskipun banyak pula terdapat jurnal akademik yang bersifat interdisipliner (antar cabang) dan mempublikasikan karya dari beberapa bidang yang berbeda. Jenis-jenis publikasi yang dapat diterima sebagai kontribusi terhadap bidang ilmu pengetahuan dan penelitian sangat bervariasi di antara berbagai bidang.
Publikasi ilmiah saat ini sedang mengalami perubahan yang besar, yang muncul akibat transisi dari format penerbitan cetak ke arah format elektronik, yang memiliki model bisnis berbeda dengan pola sebelumnya. Tren umum yang berjalan sekarang, akses terhadap jurnal ilmiah secara elektronik disediakan secara terbuka. Hal ini berarti semakin banyak publikasi ilmiah yang dapat diakses secara gratis melalui internet, baik yang disediakan oleh pihak penerbit jurnal, maupun yang disediakan oleh para penulis artikel jurnal itu sendiri.

Nurse Media Journal of Nursing
(e-ISSN: 2406-8799, p-ISSN: 2087-7811) is an international journal which provides a forum for publishing the scientific works of nurse practitioners, academics, and researchers. The focus and scopes of the journal include adult nursing, emergency nursing, gerontological nursing, community nursing, mental health nursing, pediatric nursing, maternity nursing, nursing leadership and management, complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) in nursing, and education in nursing. The journal is published regularly in June and December every year. Starting 2020, the journal will publish three issues each year, that is in April, August, and December This journal has been accredited by National Journal Accreditation (ARJUNA) managed by the Ministry of Research and Technology/ National Research and Innovation Agency, Republic of Indonesia with First Grade (Sinta 1) since 3 August 2020 to 2025 (Decree No. 148/M/KPT/2020). The journal has been accepted for indexation by Scopus on 20 April 2020. Papers published since April 2020 will be indexed in Scopus database. NMJN welcomes and invites researchers from around the world to submit their papers (original research article, systematic review, and case study) for publication in this journal. All papers are published as soon as they have been accepted.

Jurnal Keperawatan Padjadjaran is a journal published by the Faculty of Nursing Universitas Padjadjaran. The Jurnal Keperawatan Padjadjaran was originally named Jurnal Keperawatan Padjadjaran based on SK LIPI No. 0005.145/JI.3.2/SK.ISSN/2015.03 year 2015, which was later updated to the Jurnal Keperawatan Padjadjaran based on SK LIPI No. ID 1425969371 dated January 22, 2020. The Jurnal Keperawatan Padjadjaran has the Print ISSN number (2338 5324) and since 2015 has the Electronic ISSN No. ID 1425969371 dated January 22, 2020. Jurnal Keperawatan Padjadjaran has a Print ISSN number (2338 5324) and since 2015 has the Electronic ISSN No. (2442 7276). Jurnal Keperawatan Padjadjaran is published three times a year, April, August and December, with a total of ten (10) articles in each publication. Starting in 2018, Jurnal Keperawatan Padjadjaran was published in English. The process of publishing Jurnal Keperawatan Padjadjaran is conducted through a quick submit since 2015, then is full-online using the Online Journal System (OJS) since 2018 (Vol 6 No. 1 of 2018) through the website: http//jkp.fkep.unpad.ac.id. Starting from Volume 3 No. 3 of 2015 it has received the title of Scientific Journal Accredited with rank 2, No. 30/E/KPT/2018 from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education.
Jurnal Ners provides a forum for original research and scholarships relevant to nursing and other health-related professions. Jurnal Ners is a scientific peer-reviewed nursing journal which is published biannually (April and October) by the Faculty of Nursing Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia, in collaboration with the Indonesian National Nurses Association, East Java Province. The journal particularly welcomes studies that aim to evaluate and understand the complex nursing care interventions which employ the most rigorous designs and methods appropriate for the research question of interest. The journal has been publishing original peer-reviewed articles of interest to the international nursing community since 2006, making it one of the longest standing repositories of scholarship in this field. Jurnal Keperawatan Indonesia (JKI, or Nursing Journal of Indonesia) is the oldest and most respected broad-based nursing journal in Indonesia. The journal was established in 1997, and as the name suggests, JKI has become a pioneer in the publication of nursing journals in Indonesia. Its presence has been invaluable to the vast growth of the nursing profession in the country and to the development of nursing and health in general. In conjunction with this journey, the journal not only covers issues surrounding nursing in Indonesia, but also any topics that are relevant to health nationally and internationally, especially those concerning low-middle income countries in the world.Last accredited (2017-2022) by Directorate General of Research and Development Strengthening of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia (No: 51/E/KPT/2017) with Second Grade (Sinta 2). The Jurnal Keperawatan Soedirman (JKS) is a peer review and open access journal which publishes scientific works on the nursing and health science field (pISSN: 1907-6673, e-ISSN: 2579-9320). This journal was established in 2006 and developed by the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health Science, Jenderal Soedirman University. Jurnal Pendidikan Keperawatan Indonesia
Jurnal Pendidikan Keperawatan Indonesia (JPKI) is an open-access journal published by Indonesia University of Education. This Journal aims to improve nursing science development, especially in nursing education by publishing scientific papers from researchers, lecturers, and practitioners of nursing and health professional both on a national and international. JPKI has regularly published twice a year in June and December. We accept manuscripts written in either Bahasa Indonesia or English. Articles must be the result of research-based, case studies, results of literature studies with scientific concepts, knowledge, innovative and latest technologies within the scope of nursing. The article will be reviewed by reviewer from various institutions. JPKI has been nationally accredited based on the Decree of Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education Number 34/E/KPT/2018 with SINTA Score 3.
Jurnal Keperawatan Silampari published by Institut Penelitian Matematika, Komputer, Keperawatan, Pendidikan dan Ekonomi (IPM2KPE) as an information and communication media for practitioners, researchers and academics who are interested in the field and development of nursing, such as pediatric nursing, management of nursing, medical surgical nursing, maternity nursing, psychiatrics nursing, community nursing, emergency nursing, gerontology nursing, and family nursing. Media Keperawatan Indonesia (e-ISSN: 2615-1669 / ISSN:2722-2802) publishes articles of empirical study and literature reviews focused on science, practice, and education of nursing.
